The role
As a Care Support Worker with Flexecare, you will be the reason our clients can live independently and comfortably at home. Your visits will cover a range of support tailored to individual needs, with dignity, respect and well-being always the priority.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Personal care: assisting clients with washing, dressing and grooming.
- Medication support: prompting or assisting with medication (following full training).
- Meal preparation: preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding if required.
- Domestic support: light household tasks, laundry, and a clean living environment.
- Companionship: conversation, emotional support and promoting social well-being.
- Mobility assistance: supporting safe moving and handling within the home.
What we need from you
- Compassion and empathy: a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
- Reliability: punctuality and commitment to assigned shift patterns are essential.
- Adaptability: the ability to follow detailed care plans and respond calmly to changing needs.
- Excellent communication: clear, respectful interaction with clients, families and the Flexecare team.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- Essential: a valid UK driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle.
