Medication Support

Care at Home

The right medicines, at the right time

Managing multiple prescriptions is one of the most common reasons families first look for help. Flexecare care staff are trained to prompt, assist with, or administer medication safely, always following your care plan and clear medication records.

We ensure proper dosages and schedules are followed, liaise with your pharmacy and GP where needed, and flag anything that doesn't look right, an extra layer of safety for you and reassurance for your family.

Who it’s for

Reassurance for you and your family

Medication support helps anyone juggling multiple prescriptions, living with memory problems, or recovering after a hospital stay when regimes often change. It removes the daily worry of "did I take it?" for clients and families alike.

It combines naturally with personal care morning visits, or with hospital discharge support while new medicines bed in.

How it works

Setting up medication support

Assessment and consent

We record every medicine, dose and preference in your care plan with your (or your representative's) consent.

Pharmacy coordination

Where helpful, we arrange blister packs and align collection with your visits.

Ongoing checks

Carers complete MAR records each visit; our office audits them and reviews the plan regularly.

Prompting means reminding and observing while you take your own medicines. Administering means the care staff member physically gives the medication. We agree the right level at assessment and record it clearly, it can change as your needs change.
