The role
As an HCA, you will provide crucial, hands-on support, making a direct and positive difference in the daily lives of those we support. You’ll be working to a person-centred care plan, ensuring dignity and independence are maintained at all times.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care needs, including washing, dressing and mobility.
- Support with medication prompting and monitoring of basic health indicators.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance to ensure proper nutrition.
- Provide essential companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a comfortable environment.
- Accurately record and report on client conditions and activities to the senior team.
What we need from you
- A genuine commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
- Reliability, integrity, and strong communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A respectful and patient demeanour when working with clients.
- Willingness to undertake necessary training and a satisfactory DBS check.
- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential: we provide comprehensive training!
